I’ve written a couple of books on communications, and I find blogging to be more rewarding. 1)You can “grow” your ideas in shorter spurts, and 2)You can get some great feedback on your ideas almost immediately rather than waiting until the book hits the shelves.

The feedback makes me a better writer, speaker, and coach!

And if I may state the obvious completion of your sentence –

If enough people read and benefit form my Postings, I will become an expert in their minds. And since people want to deal with experts, the next step . . . is that they will be very likely to do business with you when they are in need of your products and services.

And that is the true power of writing and public speaking.
