Blogging (Writing) and Speaking Go Hand-in-Glove.
They are both communication skills a speaker needs to continually sharpen.
Writing is a great way to develop, and make better, the content of your presentations.
The analogy is: “If you really want to learn about a subject – Teach It!
The same holds true for blogging.

Join Toastmasters!
Toastmasters is an international organization.
The latest figures I found show they have a membership approaching 250,000 in more than 12,500 clubs in 106 countries.
One of the most valuable benefits of being a member is the nurturing environment where everyone truly wants to help the other members.

Both are excellent ways to learn and hone skills that will benefit you forever. The abilities to speak in front of groups and lead meetings are tools needed along the career path of life.

Why in the world would you want to get up in front of strangers, or for that matter, in front of people you know, and risk embarrassing yourself?
Actually, there are many reasons to do this.
First of all, if you speak in front of a group, people tend to consider you to be an expert on the subject. Speaking is a great way to put yourself in front of people who have an interest in your subject, and are looking for more information.
Speaking is one way to gain credibility. The perception is that if someone gives presentations and speaks in front of groups they are an expert. All things being equal, we rather deal with ‘experts’ – correct?
Also, leaders are expected to be Read More→
