Great Presentations Aren't Created by Adding More. They're Created by Having the Courage to Remove What Isn't Essential.

One of the biggest mistakes speakers make is believing MORE is better.
More slides.
More bullet points.
More statistics.
More stories.
More words.
It's not.
In fact, the best presentations are often the simplest.
Ask This Question: Every time you add something to a presentation, ask yourself:
"Does this strengthen my message or dilute it?"
Great speakers understand that every slide, every story, very statistic, every sentence should have a purpose.
If it doesn't - Remove it.
Your audience doesn't need more information.
They need:
more clarity.
more relevance.
more connection.
Think about your slides.
Can you:
eliminate a bullet point?
replace text with an image?
remove an unnecessary chart?
simplify a complicated graphic?
Remember...
People came to hear YOU - not read your slides.
Now Think About Your Presentation
Can you:
shorten a story?
eliminate a tangent?
combine two points into one?
remove information the audience doesn't really need?
Every minute you save is another minute your audience stays engaged.
Here's a challenge.
Before your next presentation...
Don't ask:
"What else should I add?"
Ask:
"What can I remove?"
You'll probably discover something surprising.
Your presentation becomes:
Clearer.
Stronger.
More memorable.
More impactful.
Less isn't less. Less is better - when what remains is exactly what the audience needs.
Great presentations aren't created by adding more.
